Squidoo for Bum Marketers

If you’ve been checking out bum marketing then you’ll know that you need to have a website to send people to so they can click on your affiliate link. Most article directories won’t let you place your affiliate link in your article. Instead, you must send the reader to a site, where they can then (hopefully) click on your affiliate link. Many article marketers who don’t want to maintain their own website will set up a lens on Squidoo.
Squidoo makes it pretty easy to add text, graphics, polls, comments, and other interactive features to your lens. (Squidoo calls the page you add a “lens”.) The problem with all those features is that it’s hard to know where to start. You don’t want to go overboard adding stuff, because you really want people to just click on your affiliate link and purchase the product. You don’t really want them spending all day on your lens!
I’m a huge fan of the Rhodes Brothers so it will come as no surprise to you that I recommend their guide to creating Squidoo lenses that get results! The beauty of this guide is that it’s a video. This guy gives you tip on how to be able to write a high quality article, on any subject at all, in a matter of minutes. It doesn’t matter if you know anything about the subject or not, he gives you great ideas on where to find the high quality information you need to be able to write an article quickly, and effectively. Even if you’re not a bum marketer, writing articles can help you in your link building, and traffic building plans. If you want the most simple way to earn extra money online, then you should look no further than “article marketing” or what is often called “bum marketing.” The method is simple:
- Write a 300-500 word article on a subject or problem.
- At the end of the article recommend a product related to the subject, or that solves the problem that you wrote about.
- Send the reader to the product sales page via your affiliate link.
- Earn extra money!!

No matter what you choose to do to earn extra money, the reality is that it is most likely going to require you to know how to write. So, if you are an especially talented writer, it might be that you are able to earn the extra money you need, by writing for others who already have businesses of their own. You can keep yourself busy writing for marketers, product creators, advertisers, bloggers, etc. For people who love to write, it can be a dream come true. I have described some opportunities available to writers below.
Write Articles
Many people making money online do so by promoting their products through article marketing. They are in constant need of unique, quality content. If you can write a 300-400 word article, on a wide range of subjects, you can keep yourself busy, and can charge upwards of $10/article. One of the best places to make money writing articles is by running a Warrior Special Offer (WSO) on the Warrior Forum. That means that you make a post, saying you will write articles for whatever price you want. If you’re new to article writing, and want to churn them out fast, there is no better help than this report. Running a WSO isn’t rocket science, but you can find some helpful hints here.
Technical Writing
If you are good at explaining complicated subjects, there are a wide range of opportunities available to you. Companies are looking for people to write instruction manuals on all of the latest gadgets. Bob Bly is a bit of a copywriting expert. He has a complete guide to technical writing available. PLR Publishing
Similar to writing articles, this method gives you the opportunity to multiply your profits quickly. Private Label Rights (PLR) means that the person who uses the material you write and can claim authorship, and edit it however they see fit. This means you can write one article and sell it to several people! You can sell your PLR on the Warrior Forum. This guy has a nice income stream selling PLR.
Freelance Writing
I guess all of these previous methods are basically freelance writing. However, if you know how to market yourself, you’ll have people and companies, coming to you to do their writing. Again, Bob Bly has a guide for getting into this huge, and incredibly lucrative market.
